108 AGENCY, a Prague-based real estate consultancy with an exclusive focus on commercial property, was honored at the CIJ Awards Czech Republic 2017 awards. The Czech industrial team of 108 AGENCY was named the winner in the categories ‘Best Warehouse Power Broker Team‘ and ‘Best Warehouse Lease‘ for renting 68,000 sqm of industrial space for the company 4PX Express.
Real estate consultants 108 AGENCY assessed the company Eyelevel’s domestic properties, reviewed the storage processes to increase the efficiency and negotiated lease agreements for a new warehouse and office premises. Originally the Czech company Eyelevel, which has managed to assert itself on global level in the field of design concepts of retail units, will have the new 5 400-sq m headquarters in the AFI Vokovice office scheme as of 11/2018. From 1/2019, it will operate in a new 26 000-sq m central warehouse in Prologis Park Prague Airport.

MCSyncro, JIT supplier for automotive industry, signed a contract for 7.000 meters squared in the industrial park Prologis Park Nitra. Itis one of the first official suppliers for the Jaguar Land Rover plant. Leasing of 7.000 square meters was facilitated by Braňo Jendek, managing partner and Head of industrial team 108 AGENCYSlovakia.

The Czech industrial property market reached 6.71 million m2 by the end of the third quarter of 2017. From July to September this year, 68,000 m2 of new warehouse space were completed in 5 parks. Compared to Q2 2017, when a total of 208,000 m2 was delivered, it means a quarter-on-quarter decline of 67 percent. Compared to Q3 2016, when a total of 52,000 m2 was delivered to the market, it is a year-on-year increase of 31 percent.
In the past 18 months, three major Chinese logistics providers leased almost 100.000 sq m of new warehouse premises, one of them being 68.000 sq m leasing agreement in VGP Park Jeneč signed by the company 4PX Express (logistics operator of Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba). This transaction ranks among the largest single industrial transactions of this year. Chinese concentration on the Czech market is expected to continue as there are several other major transactions currently underway.
